Once the regular season starts, Oubre is going to be used more as a spot-up shooter. Most importantly, he scored within the flow of the offense and didn’t take many errant shots. He finished some tough shots inside off the dribble. Oubre scored 21 points in less than 29 minutes of action. Kelly Oubre, Jarell Eddie and Aaron White were the featured players for Washington, and after two games, Oubre is the only one who’s played consistent basketball. Summer league is set up in tournament-style, so wins and losses ultimately count for something, but teams and staff just want to see individual player growth. With that said, the Hawks swung the ball on the perimeter and got plenty of open looks from driving to the basket and kicking it out.
